I got a new computer!!!! I did not get the sleek, new MacBook mentioned in my last entry. Instead I got a Dell Inspiron 1420 in fun, flirty Spring Green. After computer shopping yesterday with Ash, I realized the Dell just made more sense. The MacBook was $1500, not including the addition fees I would have to pay to install Windows (used for my Business classes). Not to mention, there are several programs/games that won't even work on Macs. The kicker was the Dell has the same great features, plus double (and triple in some cases) the specs than the MacBook, for a 1/3 of the price. WE'RE IN A RECESSION PEOPLE! haha. Maybe later I will get a Mac, but for now I'm super excited and pleased with my new computer "Ivy" =D
This computer is also available in Flamingo Pink (soooo cute), but they only had green in stock.
Moving on to the CrackBerry -- I was on the phone with AT&T alll last night trying to fix my phone. In the end, I had to wipe out the entire system and start over. :( When I powered the phone on, I started receiving emails from the past couple days, so I assumed the phone was repaired... I was wrong. Today I realized I couldn't make or receive phone calls/texts?!?! WTF AT&T?!?! Mind you, this is NOT the first time I have had the "app error 523" with this damn BB. I called AT&T cussing and fussing! They concluded that something must be wrong with the PHONE, which I JUST bought 3 months ago. Are you serious? Then they had the NERVE to try to sellllll me another phone. Such bullshit. Miraculously the phone started working like an hour ago.... However, I'm STRONGLY considering breaking my contract and moving to T-Mobile. The new Google G1 is a bad phone. It's like an iPhone, BB, and Sidekick---IN ONE! If you are a T-Mobile customer and you do not have a G1, you are officially lame. :)
